Tenuta Castiglioni Toscana
TASTING NOTES:

COLOUR
Intense ruby-red color with purplish highlights, showing a brilliant clarity and lovely consistency.

NOSE
On the nose, fruit is the protagonist with notes of cherry, currant, strawberry, and blue California plum. Added to these are spicy hints of cinnamon, pepper and nutmeg, roast cocoa, coffee and hazelnut.

PALATE
The palate is warm, supported by a pleasing vein of acidity that makes it fresh. Subtle tannin texture; dense and elegant. Long and persistent, Tenuta Frescobaldi finishes with a pleasant quality of freshness and fruit.


DESCRIPTION:
SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Ideal with game such as hare and boar, with roasted or sautéed beef, roast of pork, as well as with full-flavoured cheeses.

VARIETY: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, 10% Sangiovese

GENERAL INFORMATION: The rich Tenuta Frescobaldi di Castiglioni, this estate’s iconic wine, is clearly in a modern key, but holds fast to the qualities of its local terroir. The labels of the bottles prior to the 2009 vintage presented the caption as "Tenuta di Castiglioni"

Castello Pomino Bianco
TASTING NOTES:

COLOUR
Luminous straw yellow.

NOSE
Its bouquet is impressively complex: immediate fragrances of apple, Williams pear, and banana gradually yield to spring blossoms, jasmine, and hawthorn, with hints of acacia honey and citrus emerging on the finish.

PALATE
It displays elegantly-expressed power in the mouth, with a velvety mouthfeel and fine balance of all its components. A vein of crisp minerality adds intriguing finesse, while the impressive finish seems near endless.


DESCRIPTION:
SERVING SUGGESTIONS: As an aperitif, or with vegetarian antipasti, fish steaks or fillets, such as salmon.

VARIETY: Mainly Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco, with small parts of complementary varieties

GENERAL INFORMATION: Pomino Bianco comes from one of Tuscany’s most renowned areas for the production of high-quality wine; it is made from chardonnay and pinot bianco grapes that have been at home in Pomino for many years.


MATURATION METHOD: 85% stainless steel, 25% (of the riper grapes) in French oak barriques, keeping the varieties separated.

GENERAL INFORMATION: Castelgiocondo is produced from an uncompromising selection of the finest Sangiovese grapes, in a vineyard whose ideal elevation, well-drained soils, and southwest-facing exposure yield all of the qualities that converge to produce.


MATURATION METHOD: 8Slavonian oak casks and in French oak barrels.
Marchesi De Frescobaldi
Mormoreto Toscana IGT
TASTING NOTES:

COLOUR
A deep ruby announces Mormoreto, almost opaque in its concentration.

NOSE
The nose is ultra complex, delivering inebriating draughts of wild blackberry, raspberry, redcurrant, dried plum, dates, and wild red berry fruit, delicately lifted by floral impressions of sweetbriar and violets.

PALATE
A crisp, nervy acidity complements a suite of silky tannins, and both contribute to a palate that is notable for its warmth and roundedness. A finely-balanced, leisurely progression culminates in a lengthy, subtly-aromatic finish.


DESCRIPTION:
SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Terrific patner with any long-cooked meat dish, such as marinades,
pot roasts, and stews. Delicious with aged cheeses.

VARIETY: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot

GENERAL INFORMATION: Mormoreto is the Castelloâs most prestigious wine, still produced from the vineyard of the same name, as it was for its first vintage, in 1983.


MATURATION METHOD: New barriques of both sawed and split oak.

TASTING NOTES:

COLOUR
lovely ruby-red.

NOSE
The nose opens with dark wild berries and cherry, hints of candy floss and pleasant floral notes of lilac and chocolate.

PALATE
The palate is characterized by a distinct tactile approach in which the stamp of the terroir is underlined by a lively minerality.

GENERAL INFORMATION: Nipozzano Riserva Chianti Rufina DOCG is one of the historic
produced at the Castello di Nipozzano.

Warm and intense, Remole is a balanced medium-bodied wine, pleasingly fruity and persistent.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS: A classic example of a wine for all dishes, on all occasions. Enjoy it for example with charcuterie that is not too spicy, or with full-flavoured pasta dishes such as all’amatriciana.

TASTING NOTES:

COLOUR
Luminous and intense purple-red.

NOSE
The nose reveals lovely fruit sensations of raspberry and plum, followed by notes of vanilla that set the stage with spicy hints of liquorices.

PALATE
The finish is dominated by fresh notes of juniper.


DESCRIPTION:
SERVING SUGGESTIONS: The classic wines for all courses, perfect with meat-sauced pasta; light-meat stews, such as rabbit alla cacciatora; and grilled pork sausages.

VARIETY: Sangiovese

GENERAL INFORMATION: A Sangiovese that is crisp, fresh, and laden with energy. A sparkling ruby announces ultra-fruity aromas, with generous notes of strawberry and blackberry, plus a delicious, emphatic vein of coffe and licorice. Smooth and full-flavoured in the mouth, it concludes dry and clean at the end of the palate.


Frescobaldi Remole Toscana Bianco
TASTING NOTES:

COLOUR
pale straw-yellow

NOSE
A lovely fruitiness pervades the nose, with confident notes of ripe williams pear and nectarine.

PALATE
Delicate floral notes of wisteria continue onto a palate that is crisp and tangy, full-flavoured, and showing all of its components in fine balance.


DESCRIPTION:
GENERAL INFORMATION: Remole Bianco makes every moment a pleasure with ist freshness and its pleasant fruity notes. Ideal for appetizers and first courses of fish or poultry.

VARIETY: Vermentino and Trebbiano



Pinot Grigio IGT


TASTING NOTES:
COLOUR: Luminous straw yellow.

NOSE: The bouquet is rich with aromas of tropical fruit such as papaya and pineapple, followed by delicate floral notes.

PALATE: The aromatic fruitiness continues onto a generous, full-bodied palate that is wonderfully fresh and lively.

TASTING NOTES:

COLOUR
Ruby red tending to garnet during ageing.

BOUQUET
Warm and mature red fruits. Violet flowers and black cherry.

TASTE
Savoury and mineral aftertaste like real Chianti is full body and well balanced tannin.

TASTING NOTES:

COLOUR
Ruby red.

BOUQUET
Warm and mature red fruits; blackberry and cherry. Violet flowers and spicy scent. With a delicate liquorice note.

TASTE
Round and full body a long and complex aftertaste where we can find the typical expression of this vine variety.

wine Ducato Pinot Grigio
Pale and delicate of colour with a light and aromatic nose highlighting pear, citrus and floral aromas. The palate is classically neutral with delicate flavours of lemon, cut apple and white flowers but the key to this wine is the mouth-coating texture.
wine Moletto Pinot Bianco
TASTING NOTES:

COLOUR
Straw yellow with faint green reflections.

BOUQUET
Clean perfume, opening into harmonious sweet fruity tones: is a basket of ripe summer fruit.

TASTE
Structurally balanced, fragrant and agreeable. A complete, radiant and complex wine.

DESCRIPTION:
It is cold, in stainless steel vats, with fermentation at controlled temperature of 18°C / 64°F. The wine is then racked and refined in stainless steel vats for about 4 months before bottling.
wine Moletto Pinot Grigio DOC Piave
TASTING NOTES:

COLOUR
Straw yellow, tending copper.

BOUQUET
It is intense and very fruity (peach) and floral of acacia flowers.

TASTE
Dry, fresh, harmonious, crispy, full of character.

DESCRIPTION:
The gentle pressing of the grapes has been followed by vinification in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature; fermentation began using selected yeasts. Then the wine was left to mature in stainless steel vats before bottling.
Moletto Merlot DOC Piave
TASTING NOTES:

COLOUR
Ruby red.

BOUQUET
Vinous and full with a pleasingly intense fruitiness.

TASTE
A wine filled with character. In the mouth, the two nearly-opposite sensations of freshness and warmth alternate. Unusual the vinous tropical hint (freshness) in a smoothly alcoholic and tannic body (warmth). Qualities that just ask to be sipped again … and again.

DESCRIPTION:
The grapes have been vinified in stainless steel vats, with a maceration on the skins for about 25 days at a temperature of 26°-30°C / 79°-86°F. Malolactic fermentation followed the alcoholic fermentation. The wine was then left in stainless steel vats for twelve months before bottling.
